Introducing Bacospore®.
A standardized, spore-forming Heyndrickxia coagulans MTCC 25308 probiotic, manufactured through controlled fermentation for digestive-health supplements, functional foods and nutraceutical formulations.

Stable spore-forming probiotic, engineered by biology.
Bacospore® is a stable, spore-forming probiotic preparation containing Heyndrickxia coagulans, formerly Bacillus coagulans. Unlike many non-spore-forming probiotics, its resistant spores are designed to tolerate acidic and challenging environmental conditions, supporting delivery through the gastrointestinal tract.
Bacospore® is standardized for viable spores and manufactured using a controlled fermentation process. The strain can produce short-chain organic acids, bacteriocin-like substances, exopolysaccharides and digestive enzymes: a profile associated with intestinal microbial balance, digestive comfort, nutrient utilization and gastrointestinal health.

Four pillars for the formulator's technical review.
Mechanism
Spore survival, microbial balance, lactic acid production, gut-barrier support and beneficial metabolites.

Bacospore®'s functional activity is not based on a single standardized phytochemical. The strain produces a set of microbiology-derived components identified in the product overview and associated with intestinal microbial balance.
Short-Chain Organic Acids
Produced during microbial metabolism and associated with intestinal environmental support.
Bacteriocin-Like Substances
Microbial substances that may help limit the growth of undesirable organisms.
Exopolysaccharides
Biologically active microbial polymers associated with probiotic functionality and microbial interactions.
Amylases & Proteases
Enzymes associated with the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins and improved nutrient utilization.
Six research-backed positioning areas.
Healthy Intestinal Microflora
Helps maintain a balanced gastrointestinal microbial environment.
Digestive Comfort
Supports normal digestion, stool consistency and gastrointestinal function.
Gut-Barrier Integrity
Helps maintain epithelial and intestinal-barrier function.
Nutrient Digestion & Absorption
Produces enzymes and metabolites associated with digestive efficiency.
Immune Function
Supports interactions between the intestinal microbiome and normal immune responses.
Antioxidant & Metabolic Support
Preclinical findings indicate antioxidant activity and effects on cholesterol and adipogenic pathways.
Multifunctional preclinical evidence.
Strain-specific preclinical evidence
In an ethanol-induced gastric-ulcer model, Bacospore® administration significantly reduced the ulcer index. Laboratory evaluations also reported dose-dependent antioxidant activity and cholesterol reduction. These findings support further investigation of Bacospore® for gastrointestinal, metabolic and cellular-protection applications.
